Highway is a 1995 Malayalam crime thriller directed by Jayaraaj and written by Sab John. The movie was produced by Prem Prakash starring Suresh Gopi and Bhanupriya in the lead roles Sreedhar Prasad (Suresh Gopi) is a Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) officer assigned with the task of investigating a bomb blast that killed 30 innocent college students. He operates under the name Mahesh Aravind, a planter from Udumbanchola and chooses a township Wintergreen as his temporary residence during the course of the investigation. Meera (Bhanupriya), a resident of the same township falls in love with Mahesh and wishes to marry him. Mahesh establishes a friendly relation with the Assi. Commissioner of Police Mr.George Alexander (Janardhanan) who was the official in charge of the criminal investigation. Janathipathyam

Janathipathyam is a 1997 Indian Malayalamfilm, directed by K. Madhu and produced by M Mani. The film stars Suresh Gopi, Urvashi, Balachandra Menon and Vani Viswanath in lead roles. The movie opens with the communist party winning the election, but the Chief Ministerial candidate has lost the election. The party chief proposes the name of Ramadevan Nayanar aka RD Nayanar (Suresh Gopi), a former Kerala cadre IPS offcier, who was dismissed by the previous government due to the influence of the villains, including some in the police, like City Commissioner Maya Pillai (Vani Vishwanath), and DIG Varma (Rajan.P.Dev). RD returns to Kerala and takes over as the CM, after which he uses his powers to take down his enemies with the help of his wife Indira IAS (Urvashi), and his former colleagues in the police force. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

Thalasthanam  is a 1992 Malayalam film by Shaji Kailas starring Suresh Gopi, Narendra Prasad, Geetha, M. G. Soman, GaneshKumar and Vijayakumar. Vijayakumar made his debut through this movie. Unnikrishan (Vijayakumar), a simple, innocent, easy going chap joins Government Law College. He along with first year students are ragged by the seniors under the leadership of Pappan (Ashokan). A student leader with strong political clout, Pappan violently thrashes down Unnikrishnan who opposes the ragging. Later again, he is insulted in front of the girls. Kaliyattam  is a 1997 Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Jayaraaj. It stars Suresh Gopi, Lal, Manju Warrier, and Biju Menon.The film is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play Othello set against the backdrop of the HinduTheyyam performance.Suresh Gopi plays Kannan Perumalayan, the equivalent to Othello. Lal plays Paniyan, the equivalent to Iago. Manju Warrier plays Thamara, the Desdemona version. And Biju Menon plays Kanthan, Cassio's role. In 1998, Suresh Gopi received the National Film Award for Best Actor, and Jayaraaj the award for Best Director for their work on the film.
